Dr. Walker grew up on a small acreage in southern Iowa. Growing up, he spent a large part of his childhood being around his grandparents, who owned and operated a prairie seed farm specializing in Iowa native grasses and wildflowers. Walker’s grandfather, John Osenbaugh (Osenbaugh Prairie Seed Farms) took him under his wing and instilled in him the importance of soil conservation and the impact that monocrop ag can have on the land. It was Mr. Osenbaugh’s mission, and now Walker’s mission, to restore the land back to its original state.

It is our goal to provide a high quality seed mix with little to no impurities to curb the devastating effect of erosion on our soil. Through proper use of the governmental CRP program, this can be done at no cost to the farmer, and even can make unfarmable land profitable. Let our team show you how restore the land, and make money doing it!

You can find Walker on the farm working most weekends, playing with his two dogs or hanging out with his wife, Allison and their baby girl.
